Faced with expensive repairs and infrastructure renovations to their swimming pool, the East Providence High School in Rhode Island needed an innovative solution for their improvements.
The new system needed to mitigate the destructive characteristics of high humidity levels and hold up against weather and condensation. Working with Johnson Controls, we recommended a NRP Series 40 dehumidification system to upgrade the East Providence pool.
To cover the costs, a $12M ESCO bond was issued to the school district for the new energy-efficient system, and with the cost savings of the new system alone, the district will be able to repay the bond in a few years. The NRP dehumidification system continues to provide consistent and reliable performance for the school.
